There is nothing particularly clever or special about this laptop so given the poor build quality, it cannot be recommended. Many people I have spoken to have said that this is a Design Fault There was a problem loading the comments at the moment.

The entire purpose of a screw is to be secure, wcer it doesn't fall out. The build quality is very very poor and the design flawed. You can edit your question or post anyway.

There is a card reader on the left at the front of the base but it's hidden xcer a removable piece of plastic and easy to miss.

Add to Wish List. I use this laptop mainly for design work, on photoshop, illustrator and in design. There's a problem loading this menu at the moment. I've had this just over a week and may write again after a longer period.

Acer Aspire z Driver

Handy small size, easy to carry around, to uni etc. Even if you don't eat over your laptop, little bits of crumb and debris will inevitably make their way onto the keyboard and these then scratch the monitor. Firstly the screen had a white dead pixel to start with, no biggie, except this has now expanded into an area of white glow - not dead pixels but far lighter than the surrounds and very 209z even if that area is just solid white.

If so, then my advice would be, to think very carefully about proceeding - make sure that the issue with the screen design has been resolved. Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features. Silver All formats Text, image, video Image and video reviews only Text, image, video. Windows8 is poor and you have to pay for office etc.

You may not think this is an issue but it does mean that not only does the screen get very dirty but also that it becomes very scratched. I ace one of these laptops elsewhere in August But even that is not the worst of this monitor.

I would not recommend this product and I regret buying it. Windows 8, 14 in screen, fast, stylish and very slim and light. Really recommend this to first users: However by far the worst aspect is the screen and this is where the design is most flawed.

I bought this laptop as my acer aspire Z got 5 years older which I liked the most.

The USB ports sometimes work and sometimes don't. This works fine for the LAN and is useful if you want to download a large file. This sharp line is now replicated on my monitor with a long scratch complete with curved corners to match the mousepad which is most noticable when the screen is dark and is now very, very distracting when trying to watch films or tv and I imagine would be for gaming also.
